Kersten bids adieu to Paulose

Katherine Kersten has a farewell piece to U.S. attorney Rachel Paulose in today's Strib worth checking out.

Not surprisingly, it's a positive look at some of the high points Paulose's tenure. Given that a lot of the press Paulose got here was unduly negative, I cannot begrudge her this one tribute piece. I have no doubt that taxpayers will get more than their money's worth out of Paulose in her new post in Washington, D.C. Whatever managerial issues she might have had locally, she is unquestionably a dedicated, hardworking and highly talented individual.

Vaya con Dios!

Oh ye of little faith....

Kersten is never going to stop writing about Paulose. Like every subject she has (all six or so) it will be dug up and trotted out on a regular basis for further tsk-tsking.

Not to be picky, but it's correctly written, "Vaya con Dios," which is appropriate given Paulose's penchant for quoting the Bible.

Oops. Thanks! I made the correction. My Spanish is more than a little rusty.

To be fair -- and whatever its Genesis was (sorry) -- I believe the whole Bible-quoting thing was completely overblown.

These comments prove that the young, talented Rachel Paulose was and still is a threat to some of those 'career persecutors' in that office. They are really worried whether anyone would ever say anything good about Ms. Paulose. Hatred and jealousy will consume them and that would be a good punishment.. life-time haunting....

Sorry, Mark, but a more incisive response to Kersten column can be found on Minnpost.com, by Eric Black:

Hey John, what exactly do you do all day to earn my tax dollars besides sit on the blogs all day attacking the boss you helped crucify? The poison dripping from your veins is pathetic.
